Social Studies
Students will become geographers learning about present and past. They will look closely at the regions of the United States and the relationships of how humans and regions have affected each other. Students will focus on the Five Themes of Geography – Location, Place, Regions, Human-Environment Interactions, and Movement.

State Brochure Research Project
For each region we study, students will choose a state from that region to research. In class, students will use their SS Textbook plus other classroom books to research the required information about their chosen state.
